Frozen Berries

In this stunning image you can see young rose hips in December. Rose hips, also rose haws and rose hep, are the fruit of the rose plant that is typically red-orange in color. Roses are used in jams, soups and wine, but can also be eaten fresh if care is taken to avoid the coarse hairs. They are particularly high in vitamin c, one of the richest plant sources available.

Guardian of the Gold

This impressive statue can be found at the Bankok Golden Temple, Thailand. The ornate and highly revered Buddhist temple contains the golden image of Buddha, which is made of solid gold and weighs approx. 5.5 tons. It is a unique experience to visit this temple which is open to the general public as long as they dress respectfully, and it is of popular opinion that a trip to Bangkok is incomplete without visiting this temple.
